Christmas Presents Update
I’m done with Kevin’s and Tommy’s. Not done with everyone else’s. It’s okay. :D I’ll give them on the 12th day of Christmas. I’ll have to work hard. Not much time left!
Christmas Presents
So this year, I’m planning to knit my whole family scarves. Originally, I wanted it to be like a “secret” project–but I guess it’s not going to turn out that way… seeing that I couldn’t possibly knit at school since I spend all my spare time practicing my cello.
Currently, I’m working on the scarf I’m planning to give to my brother–Tommy. I’m using the free Seaman’s Scarf from KnitPicks.com. I’m halfway through and realized that I didn’t order enough yarn. I’ll probably need to order another hank from them.
I also got a new knitting book called Scarf Style. I’ll probably tackle more of those projects once I’m done knitting the Christmas presents.
I still haven’t finished my last two cushion projects–maybe I should complete them sometime soon.
On the other hand–my talent Aunt is in town. She taught me a neat trick to join two balls of yarn together. :D Yay!
The Local Yarn Store
Today I went downtown to school to sign up for orchestra auditions. Since I had spare time, I took the bus over to the local yarn store–commuknity. I haven’t been there for almost a year. Anyways, I went over and bought a set tapestry needles since I lost my last one. Now I can finally finish my cushion project which I started a couple weeks ago!
Along with my new tapestry needles, I bought yarn for my next project… which is also a cushion.
During checkout, the lady at the counter said my bag smells nice. When I got it back, I found out it did smell nice. D: I don’t know why it does though.. but it does smell nice.
Oh yeah! I finally got my copy of Interweave Crochet in the mail today. I hope to crochet this project or this project some time in the future. Of course, I should learn how to crochet first since I don’t know how.
